Pentacam Ortho-K Feature
Oculus Optikgeräte GmbH is world-leader in manufacturing devices and instruments for eye diagnostics. Their Pentacam® is the gold standard when it comes to analyzing the anterior segment of the eye. As a trusted partner, we have helped Oculus since 2024 to create and design intuitive screens for their data-heavy software with the goal of ensuring the best possible patient care through a user-friendly experience.
First Class Night Lenses
This project focused on Ortho-K lenses – special contact lenses worn overnight to temporarily deform the cornea, allowing the patient to see clearly during the day without lenses. We developed a new Ortho-K screen which helps eye care practitioners in effectively monitoring and managing Ortho-K treatments.
The Process
The principal goal was to ensure that the medical professionals can comprehend the patient-relevant information in an efficient way, even under stressful working conditions. Based on requirements gathered from user research and stakeholders’ input, we created conceptual drafts of the interface structure, practical to acquiring promising feedback early on. The insights shaped a high-fidelity prototype which was designed using elements from our constantly growing custom design system – a collection of reusable components, guidelines and standards.
